Hospitals have stepped up their efforts to avoid such issues becoming rampant through the acquisition of clinical data repositories such as physicians EHRs, hospital EMRs, and state vaccination records (Hannah & Kathryn, 2015)
The value of health information exchange (HIE) is indeed something that physicians never fail to acknowledge because they know how essential it is (Hannah & Kathryn, 2015). Physicians have been able to gain access to patient healthcare data, which has made it possible for them to make informed decisions instead of making wild guesses and inferences. Patients have different records. This means that they have different allergies, different prescriptions, chronic conditions and also procedures (Hannah & Kathryn, 2015). For example; patients with peanut allergy are always advised never to have peanut due to the severe allergic reaction called anaphylaxis (Bischoff & Alexander, 2006). This information is very important to physicians. Physicians will not only know how to proceed if such an incident happens, but will also be able to save the life of a patient. HIE is indeed important, and a patient’s identity together with their medical history should be easily accessible to the physicians.
At times the hospital staff might take the issue of Language Access Policy (LAP) for granted but it is also valuable and plays a key role in ensuring that patients are well taken care of (Bischoff & Alexander, 2006). Hospitals have a significant number of patients who are limited in language proficiency (Bischoff & Alexander, 2006). This means that most of them are not able to clearly explain their conditionsto the physicians. This presents a big challenge to the hospital staff because getting a patient’s history and their current medical condition is imperative to appropriate medication being offered. Using the same example of a peanut allergy patient, if the physician is not able to know exactly what the patient is suffering from, then it would be hard for him to administer the epinephrine that is needed immediately by such patients. Language is indeed very important and in most cases, a patient’s life is dependent on the physician’s understanding of the patient’s description.
Language is not only important in understanding the patient’s condition and history but also in the provision of appropriate healthcare. Having interpreters in medical facilities is essential and imperative in ensuring that all patients have access to appropriate healthcare services. Hospitals should conduct background checks on the interpreters before they decide to give them the job to ensure that genuine interpreters with a complete understanding of a certain language are acquired. Interpreters should also be taken through several tests to ensure that they provide accurate and comprehensive interpreting. For example, physicians could notice that patients die, or their condition worsens after they use the interpreter’s information. In a situation such as this, it could mean that the interpreter is either lying to them, or he does not understand the patient’s language, and in both cases, the patient’s life is endangered.
Patient’s privacy and security of health information have become an important concern nowadays. Healthcare providers are required by law to comply and adhere to the laws that govern or protect patient’s privacy (Mayer et al, 2004). Patient’s privacy is not only protected by the land laws, but it is also bolstered by the medical ethics guiding principles (Mayer et al, 2004). Physicians need to be warned of the consequences that their actions could have on their patients. For example, AIDS-related discrimination and stigma persist, and people with the HIV/AIDS virus have been victims of discrimination in workplaces, health care and also housing (Mayer et al, 2004). It not only affects their decision to obtain health care but also goes a long way in discouraging them to get tested and even seek treatment (Mayer et al, 2004). Complying with the privacy rules is indeed very important and all health care facilities need to adhere to them.

This way, a student gets a chance to expand knowledge as well as develop critical thinking which is an important factor to consider in life.
Students can be actively involved in extra-curricular activities such as clubs and unions. There are many associations in schools that are created for various functions. Such associations are normally free for anyone to join. In groups, students learn about team work, organizing real life events and even get a chance to exercise their leadership skills. In fact, it is through these activities, including camping, where leadership can be further developed. Communication skills as well as learning how to handle others are more benefits of such engagements. Above all, it breaks the monotony that is normally experienced in classroom and academic contents, allowing students to refresh.

Time Management
In most situations, time management always emerges as a top priority for everyone. Whether in school, home or at work, time is always a precious commodity and resource that must be fully and constructively utilized. Time management, on a personal basis, helped me a lot in school, and I can foresee my skills in the same being a booster in my career. Learning how to manage time is a great experience that leaves everyone feeling renewed and motivated.
From a general point of view, every individual has many things and projects to accomplish within a given period of time, like a day. The success, accuracy and effectiveness of implementing them depend on several factors, and mainly the manner in which the available time is managed. In most cases, if I managed my time well, I ended up finishing all the tasks that I had to accomplish, and even have extra time for myself.
Time management is always helpful when it comes to avoiding procrastination. It is always fulfilling and self-motivating to have the day’s tasks accomplished in time. The opposite is always demoralizing, especially when work piles up and one has to strain in the end to make ends meet.
When it comes to critical and analytical thinking, time management plays an important role. Allocating time for every activity would allow one the much needed space to achieve effectiveness and efficiency. In the process, one gets to focus on whatever he or she is doing, and in the end, and analyze each element without the pressure of awaiting tasks.
Motivation
Motivation is one of the most significant psychological factors that affect human growth and development. As a student, motivation is always important in ensuring that one remains focused on the important elements in life or academics. Personal motivation is always a determinant of individual growth and perception, which generally affects progress. When an individual is motivated, he or she would have the power to work hard and deliver good results at the end. This is mainly because they understand the reason as to why hard work is not an option, and it is important to attain the set target.
In the case of a student, motivation is a very important element which highly affects academic progress. A student who is motivated has his or her eyes set on a prize, and they work towards it. Motivated students are always eager to learn. A student who is not motivated has no particular focus, and therefore operates on a procedural basis.
The process of goal setting is also affected by the motivation found among different students. Goals vary from being distinct, clear and timely to being general and having unreasonable spans of time. Motivated students are analytical and critical in their thinking.
Educational Goals
This course has taught me the importance of having personal goals in education. Goals are important in defining the direction in which we are heading, as well as setting the basis of our work. When I have goals, I am able to focus better and have a check factor always. The obligation to work and remain within the goals is always there. It is crucial to set goals that are reasonable, achievable and within set periods of time. Goals are useful in motivating an individual, as well as enhancing critical ability. Internalized racism is found in the situation where a given group of people have ethic attitudes towards members of their own groups, or even themselves. It is a belief based on stereotypes that portray them in a particular manner.
There are many ways in which racial microagressions are hurtful to people of color. Depending on how motivated a student is, it can be a constant source of stress and psychological discomfort. For instance, I recently overheard a high school asking another ‘what’ she is. I later understood that it was because of her mixed race. One would wonder how being a half cast makes her a ‘what’ rather than a normal human being. From my high school experience, a student once asked a classmate why he did not behave like a normal black people. Another wanted to know the language a colleague spoke in Japan, after suggesting ‘Asian’.
Internalized racism holds one back from achieving their goals in life, or prevents socialization with others. Due to this trait, one may feel that they are superior or inferior to others, which is a disadvantage, for instance, certain cosmetic practices are associated with certain races.

Cultural capital refers to the non-financial assets within the society that promote togetherness, mobility and are generally used for the good of the community. Cultural capital can include elements such as education, physical appearance, the style of speech, mode of dressing and intellectual levels. They are distinct characteristics that define the community at large. On an individual basis, cultural capital refers to those factors that place an individual in a higher status than the rest in the community.
Community cultural wealth, according to Yosso, refers to the range of abilities, skills and knowledge that is possessed by communities of color. This is mainly in terms of resisting operations and surviving at large.
There are three major types of cultural capital. Embodied cultural capital is the first type. This kind of capital can either be acquired in a conscious state or generally handed down the community line. The elements here are acquired overtime, meaning that an individual has to practice the particular culture in order to acquire it. Embodied cultural capital; is closely related to community cultural wealth, since the former leads to the latter.
Objective cultural capital represents the tangible part of the environment. It refers to the physical items that symbolize the culture of the community. They are unique and can be easily associated with that community.
Institutionalized cultural capital mainly refers to the qualifications in education that give an individual cultural capital.
The urge to attain higher cultural capita, in terms of education, and higher community cultural wealth, in terms of skills and knowledge, influence students greatly and act as achievable goals. They provide the basis or purpose for working hard.

To my knowledge, I have always thought that evaluation is only used to giving students grades after the end of an academic year. But to the contrary evaluation serve several essential functions in the education sector. Throughout the text, the general function of evaluation comes out clearly and fits my reasoning in that; it is a critical factor in assessing whether the course objectives have been achieved both by the teacher and students.
As a teacher, this is critical as it challenges me to ensure that I formulate plans and set objectives that when critically evaluated will register positive outcome. Being a teacher, it is my role to ensure my students meet their set objectives by adhering to the course curriculum. Therefore, evaluation is the best technique to use when dealing with students as it serves to compare different learning programs, diagnose students, measure whether objectives have been achieved, and revise the learning curriculum and in anticipation of educational needs (Eisner evaluation, pg1). To ensure that curriculum meet student expectations, the need for improvement and modification arises. Therefore evaluation ensures programs are constantly revised and evaluated so as to accommodate new learning skills that might improve students’ welfare.
In my learning environment, all these techniques that fit under evaluation can be incorporated so as to influence the performance of students. For instance, I would apply the technique of diagnoses while teaching and then later determine if my diagnosis during class work worked when I gauge students at the end of the course work. It is for sure that various topic and distinction arises when addressing the topic of evaluation. One such issue that should be addressed is whether the whole issue of evaluation work only to benefit the student or whether it benefits both the student and the teacher.

Mueller also personally expenses the billing of jewelry in the company books which are non-allowable expenses against the company revenues. Both bribery and creative accounting are unethical acts under the accounting and managerial principles and a criminal offence under the statute (Beauchamp, Bowie & Arnold, 2004).

3. Consequences of bribing

The practice has resulted into relatively low profits for Shamalay Automobiles and staff turnover.
4. What to do
As a professional and conservative of ethical morality I have a number of alternatives in order to curb the issue.
Create awareness of the ethical morality and issues in transactions to both Mueller and the entire organization (Beauchamp, Bowie & Arnold, 2004).

This Secret sorrowstory demonstrates how life can change from happy living to a sad life and finally back to a happy living. This is a story in which the central character by the name Faye breaks up with one of his friends Greg. Earlier on, Faye had gotten an accident in which she got a permanent internal injury which also contributed widely to the decision to quit her job and also break up with Greg, her friend. After the accident and the break up, the fate of Faye remains unknown. The permanent internal injury affects he ability to give birth.
Faye explores other options to continue with the normal business. She shifts to live in the house of her brother Chuck house where she meets yet another man by the name Kai. He was a great and trusted friend to her brother to an extent of even be the person to carry the keys to Chuck’s house. Faye’s brother had entrusted all he had in his house to Kai who managed it on his behalf as a trustee. After a deep persistence and convincing, Faye finally accepts to marry Kai and the future brightens up despite the fact that Faye could not give birth and there is no way she could have children of her own.
The story of a Sorrowful woman by Gail Godwin illustrates a woman who was never happy in her life together with her husband and their little boy. The woman is stressed up by the nature of daily chores in the house which quite often wear her out and the duties over burden her to an extent of affecting her social and family life.
The Body
Comparison of the two stories
A secret sorrow is a story illustrating the agony of a young lady whose life is messed up by forces beyond her control. Her ability to become pregnant is impaired by an accident she is involved in which causes serious internal injuries. She is not willing to share such facts to anyone and this result to a break up with her friend.
In the time she is living in her brother’s house, she gets to meet another man who intends to marry her despite the fact that she can’t bear children. It takes quite a lot of time to convince her to finally accept to marry him and that they will share the problem together; though she advices him to get married to another woman so that they can have children together. She fears disappointing any one by her inability to give birth.
Kai, a stubborn and persistent young man, insists on marrying her arguing that he loves her but not her procreating ability. Faye is evoked by Kai’s persistent to a point that she finally accepts to marry him. It is worth noting that they finally have a happy family since they opts for adoption of children. Faye’s future is revived with Kai and she can see a future with children.
In the event the husband is away for work they would call one baby sitter whom they used to employ. She could take on the duty of playing with the child since his mother isn’t happy to see the little boy follow her all the time. The woman latter fires the girl and the husband has to take charge of the daily chores. He has to take care of the child, take him to school and latter pick the boy from school.
Contrasting the two stories
In the secret sorrow story, Faye in exceedingly unhappy and sorrowful in her heart. This condition is brought about by the fact that she cannot give birth because of the accident with severely injured her internal system and affected her capacity to carry pregnancy. She even fears to get married with the believe that she will disappoint the husband by the lack of children.
Conclusion
The two stories bring out a contradictor position as the nature of a marriage. In one story it is a source of joy while in the other story it brings sorrow in the house. This leads to a concluding remark that presence of children in a marriage does not always lead to happiness and absence of children in a marriage does not always lead to sorrow. In the secret sorrow story, the Aki appreciates and understands the fact Faye has had her systems impaired and she cannot be pregnant and give birth. He is more interested in a happy family which is not dependent on the child bearing status of his wife. They both share the burden and accept the carry equal weight on such a matter as it was not the fault of any one.
The presence of a child in the second story poses difficulties in the family and strains the marriage to an extent of break up.
