This project consists of learning cultural awareness of historical or modern importance, conducting research on a Hindu culture, presenting the information to the class in the form of a case study, and providing additional information about the Tribe The purpose is the evaluate resources for information, as well as apply the gained knowledge in a presentation to fellow nursing students.

Assignment:
- Selected disease is MALARIA.
- Use information from at least three – five resources, the student will prepare a class presentation lasting 7-10 minutes (see below for content), supplemented with a PowerPoint slide handout containing at least 8 slides. (Copies will be made by the instructor if an electronic copy is submitted no later than 8 am on the due date.)
- Based on the information gathered, prepare a creative, clear and detailed case study scenario of the tribe.
- The student will submit an electronic copy of the PowerPoint
Guidelines:
- Research sources should be credible to include those listed in the supplemental syllabus.
- No plagiarism or cutting and pasting of text should take place. Work must be presented at a level for second semester nursing students. In the case of plagiarism, appropriate grade penalties apply, as indicated in the supplemental syllabus.
- Late work: Unless alternative arrangements are made, if a student is absent in the day of the presentation, the grade will be based on the written work, with zero points for presentation mechanics. There is limited availability for alternate presentation times.
