This assessment addresses the following course outcomes:
 Investigate major developments in the progression of historical inquiry for informing critical questions related to historical narrative
 Articulate the value of examining historical events for their impact on contemporary issues

Now that you have done some research with primary and secondary sources (using only the sources provided in the research kit for your chosen topic) and
written an introduction for a possible history paper, you will turn your attention to thinking about the creation and value of historical inquiry. You will use the
research you have done throughout this course, as well as course materials, to inform your thoughts. To present your opinions and observations, you will create
a multimedia presentation (using a presentation tool such as PowerPoint) that addresses the following critical elements. While these questions may
seem “big,” remember that you are addressing them in a presentation, not a paper, and can use bullet points, visuals, or other methods. These critical elements
will be evaluated from the information you provide in your multimedia presentation of 10–12 slides.
Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed:
I. Articulate how different historical lenses impact how people perceive an historical event.
A. Explain how historical lenses could be applied to your topic. For instance, are there aspects of this event that might interest a political historian
and what are they?
B. Choose one of the lenses referenced above, and detail how the historical narrative you started in your research and introduction might change
through this lens. For instance, how might the “story” of your event change when studied through its political aspects?
C. Discuss what conclusions you can draw about the “telling” of history in relation to the “teller.” How does this impact for you what “history” is?
Be sure to back up your opinions with information learned throughout the course.
II. Based on your conclusions, articulate the value of studying history.
A. Describe how you could apply to our lives today what you have learned from the event you have studied. Be sure to reference specific
contemporary issues. For instance, what specific issues that we encounter today could benefit from lessons learned from your event?
B. Discuss your opinion of the adage that “history repeats itself.” Do you agree or disagree? Be sure to explain why you have this opinion with
information you have learned throughout the course.
C. Discuss your obligation as a citizen of your society to understanding the history behind issues that impact you every day. For instance, what civic
duties you can be better at if you know more about their history? How can being a more informed member of society benefit you and society?

Find an article, clinical study, or journal report that employs statistics in reporting results. Then, briefly explain with numerical examples on how the author(s) used statistical methods to report the results. (150 words pls. include link & source)

Explain what is a central limit theorem. Describe an experiment with numerical examples that could be used to verify the central limit theorem. (150 words)

What does the p-value tell researchers, especially in terms of the normal curve? If the p-value is smaller than the level of significance, what does that always mean in terms of the null hypothesis? Why?

10 different characters come together from different situations to slowly form a tight knit group that fights for each other and survive in a harsh new world.

The world is a mythical fantasy world similar to lord of the rings.

The characters all found themselves in this world , each awoke with no previous memory , and had to survive.

Some are robots (1) some are creatures, eg half man half lion/tiger (1-2) some are wizards (1-2), some are elves(1) some are dwarves(1), several are human, some warriors, others mad scientists, others WW2 pilots, others princes, others modern soldiers (3-5) , some are animals that can talk(1-2), some are Orcs (1-2)

The wizards for example – they have to discover that they are wizards. All characters have to discover their abilities.

None of the characters know the powers they have when the wake up in this world

The setting of the writing is 10 years after they all awoke in this world , each has survived as a loner for a long time.

One by one they start to gather as a single band of brothers living for each other surviving in a harsh world.

The writing needs to do 2 things:

1. Develop each character, and explain their individual journey and survival for last 10 years – key moments only, such as how they woke up and survived early on, key events like being savaged and nearly dying, falling in love, discovering some power, gaining self belief, lifting s friend or lover, etc.

2. Describe a coming together story for the band of 10 characters. There will likely be a key leader who in search of something slowly collects the other characters around him /her in their search for something.

Think of “7 samurai” story as an example but set in the fantasy realm.

There is plenty of scope for creativity.

Choose a professional nursing organization that relates to the nursing profession or your clinical practice area. Assuming that you are the chairperson of membership for the organization, create a full-page flyer designed to recruit new members to the professional organization. In your flyer, include:

The function of the organization, as well as its mission and vision.
Potential advantages of membership in the organization.

TITLE: How far can the works of each of the FOUR theorists we have studied this year explain the UK coverage of the Windrush scandal vs knife crime OR Brexit ? Discuss in FOUR short essays (one for each theorist) of 500 words each. Be sure to quote at least once from each theorist’s books and from media coverage.

3 articles and 2 academic(theorist) references each/per theorist.

Theorists are Karl marx(The Communist Manifesto), Emile Durkheim(The Division Of Labour In Society), Pierre Bourdieu(Practical Reason) and Stanley Cohen(moral panic).

News Article Review I

All articles must be recent, the beginning of the semester forward.
The article must relate to at least two of the following learning outcome:
Describe macroeconomics issues such as Business Cycle, Growth, and Inflation.
Please download the attached template, complete it and upload and submit it.

Each question should have one page dedicated to it. Please answer the five following questions based on business ethics, and provide personal examples if possible.

What happens when trust is lost in business?
Should you hire a friend?
How does a company incentivize good ethical behavior?
Is there a downside of drug-testing?
Does a company’s reputation play a role in purchasing behavior by customers?

Provide a written paper based primarily around business ethics and the ethical nature of nepotism and cronyism in the workplace. You should discuss the negatives effects associated with nepotism and how it affects workplace culture, while providing personal experience(s). Also discuss nepotism and some positive effects, with its potential to fill vacancies within the company easily, and its ability to increase loyalty and reduce employee turnover.

Make sure to tackle both sides of the coin. Definitions are not important but providing personal experience and creating an understanding of the issue and its effects on ethics and the workplace are.
