Sometimes he must stop several times while walking from his front door to the car because “I can’t get my breath and my chest really hurts”. He states he hasn’t been taking any medications for the past 3 months due economic problems. He states “my monthly light bill is very high because I keep my air conditioner running 24/7 so I can breathe better. The patient is unable to remember what medications he was taking and says it is too much trouble to keep a medication list.
