This final project will be a combination of a 6-8 minute presentation and a 4-6 page paper on an influential leader of your choece. The presentation will be delivered during the last class session on 3/28. Although each student will select their own leader, the focus of this assignment will be to integrate the themes of class readings, discussions, and activeties into real life situations, including an analysis of personal leadership roles and a leadership development strategy. The paper/presentation topic may expand the threads of the class discussion board or a class case study or reflect an associated topic as relaoes to your leader. Each student will also include a personal reflection of the influence of their selected individual�s leadership capacity on their own leadership development. (Please note that this is not a biography project � telling the story of the individual�s life does not satisfy the requirements of this paper.) The purpose of the paper/presentation is to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the principles of leadership and how they may be applied to real life situations. You may work individually or with a partner to present your project; however, each individual is expected to submit an original paper.
